Spotts Fain proudly announces Attorney and Partner Kasey Hoare Michelle was named as a 2024 Up and Coming Lawyer by Virginia Lawyers Weekly.

This award recognizes attorneys who have excelled in the profession and are standouts among their peers — all in their first 10 years of practice. These lawyers have been making a name for themselves and displaying the determination and accomplishments that establish them as future leaders.

Kasey is a partner in the firm's litigation section. She represents commercial and business litigation clients in Virginia's state and federal courts. Kasey focuses her practice primarily on employment law, advising corporate clients on employee misconduct and dispute resolution, revising employment policies and employee handbooks, drafting employment and separation agreements, and defending against proceedings initiated by government agencies. Prior to joining the firm, she had the honor of serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Beverly W. Snukals for the Circuit Court of the City of Richmond.

Kasey has also been recognized as a 2025 Best Lawyers in America Ones to Watch for Litigation - Labor and Employment and as the 2023 Young Lawyer of the Year by the Bar Association of the City of Richmond.
